Daniel Libeskind Speaks at the Centre Pompidou during the “Histoire des Trente”

For Immediate Release: (Paris, France) December 3, 2007

With hundreds in attendance, architect Daniel Libeskind discussed the year 2003 and the projects his Studio worked on during that time.  Acknowledged as one of the most influential architects of his generation, Mr. Libeskind took an in-depth look into the year 2003, speaking specific to his projects contained within that year, closing of course, with his World Trade Center Master Site Plan, in New York City.

In his presentation, Mr. Libeskind described his projects for the year 2003. Some examples include: Studio Weil in Mallorca, Spain; The Danish Jewish Museum; The London Metropolitan University Graduate Center in England; Tangent in Seoul, South Korea; Memoria e’ Luce, the September 11th Memorial in Padua, Italy; The Wohl Centre in Ramat-Gan, Isreal; the Extension to the Denver Art Museum and the Extension to the Royal Ontario Museum.

“I thoroughly enjoyed speaking at the Centre Pompidou,” said architect Daniel Libeskind. “It was an interesting concept, to discuss projects within the timeframe of one year, because it’s typical of projects to span many years.  From concept to completion, it was fantastic to communicate the process and product of each of these projects, from the year 2003.”
