AN INTERVIEW WITH DANIEL LIBESKIND

Architect of New Urban Cultural Center Speaks with Dublin Community

World renowned architect Daniel Libeskind spoke Wednesday, June 25th at the National Concert Hall in downtown Dublin, in an interview with Irish broadcaster John Bowman. The event offered sponsors, developers, and residents alike a chance to interact with the architect of the new Grand Canal Square Theatre and Commercial Development project, a major cultural addition at the heart of the Grand Canal Harbor urban center.

The Grand Canal Square Theatre and Commercial will form a landmark icon at Grand Canal Square, the new urban piazza at the waterfront.  The theater is integrated into a commercial building complex, including 35,000 sq.m. of leasable office and retail space.  The development is set to become a grand destination for working, shopping, and entertainment.

Five companies involved in the Grand Canal Theatre project came together to sponsor Wednesday night’s event: Lafferty Project Management, McCauley Daye O'Connell Architects, Davis Langdon PKS, ARUP Consulting Engineers, and John Sisk & Son Ltd.
